This image depicts a part of a modular acoustic sound-shell that I designed last year. Using many of these adjacent to one another allows for a high quality sound being projected from an orchestra or performer without aid of amplification. It uses spring hinges, and bracket and pin systems in order to be opened and stored safely and moved with ease of the wheels at the back. The overhung top section is counter balanced with increased weight in the base of the frame making it safe for extended use.
