EXP2: The Space Between
The final animation showing the two monuments 'Terrestrial Fluidity' and details within Lumion at dusk with three textures.
Also my model has been uploaded to the 3D warehouse under: EXP2: The Space Between William Charalambous. A small preview of this can be seen below.

The final five Lumion images of the two monuments: Terrestrial Fluidity
"A disregard for the ground plane in defy of gravity; developing terrestrial references through flexibility and fluidity of spaces and circulation."

This image highlights the disregard of the ground plane and the 'terrestrial' form of the right curvilinear monument. |

Monuments with Textures
The three textures underneath show the light, medium and dark texture applied to significant areas, highlighting the monuments. These images have been taken from the Collada File and highlight the detail of the textures as well as the space created between and around the monuments.

Finalising Monuments: Sketchup
These images below show the final development of the monuments, I have integrated a staircase to a lookout on the rectilinear monument, four seating areas between the monuments 2 of each 'theme' curvilinear and rectilinear. These have been positioned to sit in both the shade and the sun at different times of the day and year. Finally I have also added curvilinear seating areas onto the two posts of the curvilinear monument.

Textures: Light, Medium & Dark
These textures focus on the scale from light to dark and the steps it takes to get there. They are seen to be used to create, complicate, hide, join, extend, compact and discontinue spaces within or on the monuments. Darker textures may be used to reduce the amount of light a surface may project, and vice versa for lighter textures whilst also creating a feature or ornament for the area.
Below is a palette of six main ideas developed from light to dark within six steps.
From this I have chosen three textures (one light, one medium and one dark) to apply within my model to particularly significant faces and these are seen below.
